Every second year EHDN hosts one of the world’s largest conferences dedicated solely to Huntington’s disease.

In 2018, the EHDN Plenary Meeting will take place at the Austria Center Vienna in Vienna, Austria, 14-16 September 2018.
This meeting has been endorsed by the European Academy of Neurology.

Centrally located in Europe, the Austrian capital is easily accessible via the Vienna International Airport or high-speed train connections.

Accommodation

There are several hotels of different categories in close proximity to the Austria Center Vienna.
Another option is to stay around the city center and travel conveniently with Vienna’s public transport to the meeting venue.
For your convenience, we have made arrangements with two hotels within short walking distance from the Austria Center Vienna.
Of course you are also welcome to book any other hotels or hostels at your own choice.

Please ensure that your travel arrangements are planned well in advance. Accommodation will not be arranged by Central Coordination.

Requests for registrations submitted after this deadline may not be guaranteed and are subject to availability of seating capacities. For urgent requests please contact .
 

Travel Information and Reimbursement

Each participant is responsible for their own travel arrangement. Travel organisation will not be arranged by Central Coordination.

EHDN members are entitled to have their travel and accommodation costs reimbursed up to a maximum of 400 EUR for travels within Europe and 600 EUR for travels from non-European countries.
Costs above these amounts cannot be covered by the EHDN.

Please note that applications for membership submitted after July 15, 2018 will not be eligible for reimbursement.

Reimbursement forms need to be submitted after the Plenary Meeting by latest 30 November 2018, forms handed in after this deadline will not be accepted.

Conference Fee

The fee for each participant amounts to 250 EUR for regular attendees and 500 EUR for industry/pharma attendees. 
The conference fee includes access to all sessions from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th and catering at the conference center (as indicated in the program). The fee cannot be reduced should you plan to attend only part of the plenary meeting.

There are regional discounted pricing categories available for students and members of HD families.

Please note: the conference fee cannot be claimed back from EHDN and exceptions cannot be made.
