We have great pleasure inviting you to attend the
2nd plenary meeting of the Euro-HD Network (EHDN 2005) held in conjunction with the 2005 World Congress on Huntington's Disease in Manchester (U.K.) from Friday, September 9th to Saturday, September 10th, 2005.
Aims and scope
The 2nd plenary meeting of EHDN (EHDN 2005 for short) will differ from the 1st plenary meeting in a number of ways:
Since EHDN 2005 will be held in conjunction with the WCHD, all
presentations reporting recent advances in HD (in both basic and
clinical sciences) will be presented to the audience gathered for the
WCHD. As a consequence, EHDN 2005 can focus on the business and the
activities of the network.
An important agenda item is to present, discuss and
formally accept policies for data sharing & publication and a
constitution for EHDN.
EHDN 2005 will be a shorter meeting compared to EHDN 2004: one and a half days.
Online registration is required to attend EHDN 2005.
In other respects, EHDN 2005 will be similar to EHDN 2004:
All sessions of EHDN 2005 are open to scientists, clinicians and HDA representatives alike.
There is no conference fee.
Participants will have an opportunity to meet and exchange informally.
Participants have the opportunity to represent their institution and their research interests at a poster session.
Meals and refreshments are provided during EHDN 2005 (i.e. on Friday and Saturday up to lunch) free of charge.
Participants are invited to attend a formal dinner on Friday night free of charge.
