On behalf of the Executive Committee of the European Huntington´s Disease Network (EHDN), the European Huntington´s Disease Association (EHA), the local organizers and the members of the Program and Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure to cordially invite you to attend the 9th
EHDN Plenary Meeting. This
year, the meeting will take place in The Hague, The Netherlands from 16-18 September 2016
at the World Forum Convention Center.
Once again, the EHDN Plenary Meeting is held in conjunction with the 17th
All EHDN plenary sessions will be open to clinicians, scientists, EHA delegates and members of families affected by HD.
There will be a conference fee (250€ maximum) per participant to foster attendance at and appreciation of the high quality sessions of the Plenary Meeting. The fee will be charged during the registration process.
Topics presented during the EHDN Plenary Meeting will contain reports on recent advances in HD research (in both basic and clinical sciences). Aside from participating in the plenary and other parallel sessions, attendees will also have the
opportunity to meet experts in the field of HD studies in more informal settings.
Abstracts of the scientific presentation at the EHDN 2016 will be published in a citable format as a special supplement of the Journal of Neurology Neurosurgery & Psychiatry (JNNP).
The EHDN 2016 programme has several main sections:
- Scientific presentations (invited lecturers as well as presentations drawn from submitted abstracts)
Lay presentations (scientific topics presented in an easier understandable format)
Updates on ongoing and upcoming clinical trials in HD
EHDN Business Meeting
Teaching courses - organised as breakfast seminars
Daily Summaries in plain language
the programme also includes evening activities, ranging from informal meetings
with industry experts to podium talks and a "Commemoration of George Huntington" at a beach club on Saturday evening.
