St. Olavs Hospital is one of the four Norwegian
Study Sites that are within the European Huntington’s disease Network (EHDN).
We include patients with HD as well as their family members in the Registry
study, the core study of the Network.
The department of Neurology and
Clinical Neurophysiology and the Section for Medical Genetics (policlinic) are
collaborating together with the registration of participants. At the department
for Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology neurologist Sigrid Botne Sando is
doing a short standard Neurological examination while genetic counsellor Inga
Bjørnevoll, is doing other clinical examination in order to complete the
Registry assessment.

How to get to us
St. Olav Hospital is located in the middle of the
city of Trondheim.
You can reach the St.Olav Hospital directly from the Trondheim Airport by the
using the Airport busses and any other busses going through Trondheim stop right
in front of the Hospital. The bus stop is called “Studentersamfunnet”. Some
busses even drive into the hospital area.
The Department for Neurology and
Clinical Neurophysiology is situated at the building “Nevro-Øst”.
