HD Team at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

  • Huntington’s Disease is a degenerative condition that affects neurological and cognitive functioning as well as social and psychological aspects of a person’s life. The many affects of the condition mean that treatment needs to be varied and multidisciplinary. The clinics here at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital aim to supply information, care and support to Huntington’s Disease patients and their families from all over Gloucestershire.
    Some of the services include:
    ·         Clinical Diagnosis and medical interventions.
    ·         Psychological Intervention
    ·         Access to other services e.g. nutritionists
