Hull Joint Management Clinic

The Joint Management Clinic is an out-patient service provided jointly with staff from neurology, psychiatry, genetics and the Hull HD Team from Psychological Medicine.  We are actively involved in research, recruiting patients to studies of the European Huntington’s Disease Network.

Information about the clinic

Who is the clinic for?
Individuals and families affected by or who are at risk of Huntington's Disease.
 
The Clinic is held at the General Outpatients Department on the 4th Friday of the month from 1pm at:

Castle Hill Hospital,
Cottingham,
East Riding of Yorkshire 
HU16 5JQ.

Who can refer to the HD Management Clinic?
Clients living within the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire area can be referred to the clinic by their GP, Huntington’s Specialist, Genetics service or any other health care professional.

How to find us.... Castle Hill Hospital

Local Bus Information

There are regular bus services to Castle Hill Hospital from the Hull Paragon Interchange. Below are the main bus links serving the hospitals:
  • No. 64, 64c, 110 and 154*
  • No. 109 - runs between Cottingham Railway Station and Castle Hill Hospital
  • No. 115 - runs via the University of Hull to Castle Hill Hospital
  • No 180 from Beverley
* the 154 travels around the CHH site via Entrance 2 and exits from Entrance 1 with several stops on route.

For patients and visitors travelling from Cleethorpes, Grimsby and Barton area to Hull Royal Infirmary, there is a regular service on the Humber Flyer
For patients and visitors travelling from Gilberdyke, Newport, Elloughton and Brough area to Hull Royal Infirmary, there is a regular service (Monday - Friday) on the Petuaria Express X55 (EYMS).
Patients and visitors from Scunthorpe area to Hull Royal Infirmary can use the 350 Fast Cat Service.

Local Train Services

Cottingham is served by a train station, 30 to 40 minutes walk from Castle Hill Hospital. The closest bus routes to Castle Hill from Cottingham Rail Station are Thwaite Street for the 115 Kings Street for the 110, a short walking distance.

By Car
Castle Hill Hospital is in Cottingham around 5 miles north west of the city of Hull.    
From the A63 take the A164 towards Beverley.  Leave at the roundabout  signposted Castle Hill Hospital onto the B1233.  The main entrance to the hospital is on the left hand side signposted Car Park Entrance 2.
Car parking is available.  There is a charge for parking.
