Leeds is easy to get to by road, air and rail, situated close to the junction of the M1 and M62 motorways and on the major Eastern railway line from London to Edinburgh. The local (Leeds/Bradford) airport has good inland and European connections.

Leeds General Infirmary is in Leeds city centre.  There is a very frequent red Freebus from both the Bus Station and Railway Stations, as well as various points throughout the city centre.  This stops just outside the Jubilee Wing, which is where the clinic is held.   (the following map shows Leeds City Centre with LGI towards the top left hand
corner)

The combined Genetic/Neurology Huntington's Disease management clinics are held on the first Friday of each month.  Usually patients arrive at 2 pm and spend the afternoon in the clinic, seeing a variety of health professionals including Consultant Clinical Geneticist, Consultant Neurologist and Genetic Counsellors.  A representative from The Huntington's Disease Association also attends most clinics.  If possible it is helpful if patients can bring a list of medication over the last year, with details regarding dose taken, frequency and start date if at all possible.  Most patients come to this clinic once a year.
