About Us

Plymouth’s Derriford Hospital houses the biggest neurology unit in the South West Peninsula, providing the largest range of sub-specialty clinics. Our clinical care is complemented by an active research programme, both in laboratory based neurosciences and in clinical trials of new treatments. The hospital provides integrated care by working closely with regional neurosurgical, neuroradiology and neuro-oncology services.

Part of the study team operates from The Royal Cornwall Hospital in Treliske allowing us to cover the whole of the South West Peninsula. The Royal Cornwall Hospital is the principle provider of acute, specialist and community healthcare to the people of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
