Axonal transport defects and neurodegenerative diseases: strategies to understand and treat these pathologies to be held from 17 to 19 of September 2008 in Saint-Raphael (French Riviera)

The meeting is aimed at Ph.D. students, post-docs and all other interested scientist and clinicians. The program covers all aspect of research on axonal transport and includes the following sessions:
  • Neuropathology and clinical features of neurological disorders associated with axonal transport deficits,
  • Physics, molecular and cellular aspects of axonal transport.
  • The molecular players and control of axonal transport: molecular motors and organelles.
  • Microscopy techniques, analysis and quantification of axonal transport.
  • Modeling axonal transport disorders: from cells to animals.
